ABOUT COURSE

The aim of this course is to initially introduce the interdisciplinary field of neuroscience in terms of its history, methods, subfields; and finally give a detailed description of nervous system. The nervous system will be explained from molecular to behavior level, starting from the structure and the function of neurons to the level of brain and behavior. The basic principles of neural functioning, development and evolution of the brain and the role of genes in nervous system function and psycopathologies are covered in this course.
